Think about all the Dad’s in your life. Is it your dad, your partner, your best friend's dad? Who are the men that helped shape you into the person that you are today? We want to take a moment and honor those men. Today’s Dads wear many more hats than the barcalounger dad of years past. The modern father is a “Girl’ Dad”, an “Outdoor Dad”, and a“Real Dad” With all the hats the modern father wears, how do you find the perfect gift? No longer is a tie for every gift-giving holiday acceptable.
A Girl Dad is more than a dad who simply enjoys spending time with his daughter. This is a father who strives to empower his daughter to create her own legacy in the world. To encourage and support his daughter to expect and fight for the same rights that a boy would enjoy. He always reminds her of her strength, he may teach her to play basketball, or change her own oil.
This support doesn’t end at 8, 15 or even 25. Maybe he becomes her running partner, and supports her in reaching her goal on completing that 5K
The Outdoor Dad prefers a recliner at a campsite. He takes every opportunity to get outside with his kids and family. He takes them on day hikes and adventures up the California Coastline. Maybe they stop for lunch on the drive, or explore a tide pool. Maybe the day trip leads to a mountain trail, to see what colors Spring has brought to the forest. Maybe it is a weekend long adventure, camping by a river or hiking San Jacinto. Whatever the day brings, it will surely be memorable for father and daughter alike.
A Real Dad stops what he is doing to get on the floor and play with his kids. He doesn’t spare the smiles and kisses. We at Seed Peoples Market want to celebrate these and all dads that love and support their children and family. Remember this Father’s Day to spend some special time with the Dad in your life. Get out, go for a walk along the beach, pack a lunch and say thank you for the lessons, the love and the memories he always helped to create. This June it is your turn. Create an experience that will not be forgotten. As always take photos to capture the special moments, and share them with us #seedinthewild #dadsoutside
